Space Industries is an international aerospace company specialized in the production of small satellites up to 700 kg, with a strong focus on the fast-growing market of smallsats between 100 kg and 500 kg.
Based in Turin, Italy, and backed by a global network of partners, we are pioneering a new industrial and serialized approach to satellite production. Our Stellar Hub facility – among the largest clean-room environments in Europe – is designed to enable scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient satellite manufacturing, ensuring faster lead times and higher volumes than traditional models.
With €15 million in planned investments by 2030, Space Industries is building more than a factory: we are creating an industrial ecosystem that will generate 300 direct jobs and involve over 500 professionals worldwide.
This growth underpins our mission to strengthen Europe’s role in the global Space Economy and to expand our commercial reach across international markets.
Beyond production, we also provide full Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT) capabilities, ensuring that satellites never leave our facility until they are ready for launch. This all-in-house concept guarantees the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and confidentiality.
Space Industries is owned by Gruppo Comat, an Italian industrial group with decades of expertise in energy systems and advanced facilities. The company is led by Giuseppe Santangelo, an accomplished aerospace entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience, including 15 in the United States as a space engineer and founder of successful ventures. A dual Italian–U.S. citizen, Santangelo brings a global vision that bridges innovation and industrial excellence between Europe and America. His mission is to make the space economy more accessible, sustainable, and integrated with the technologies that will define humanity’s future beyond Earth.
